Went to ranch today and got some ash Chunked up for next year. The ash was stuff the beavah took down this past summer. Two pallets long and 5 foot high will last easily for next year.

This is a line shack that doesn't get used much or for long periods of time. Hunting, trapping and when I need solitude.

I have a big pile of cotton wood for next year. I am sure it will not all fit in the wood bin. The bin is 18 foot long 10 wide and 8 tall. Some is cut to length, some cut and split and some needs cut. Here we burn what we have. Cotton wood is better then no wood. I have a stove in the basement. It sure help warm up the house.

your ash trees are still alive? All ash is dead here, been dead for 10 years.

Lots of ash in places and I was talking to an arborist about the Ash Beatle Bore. He said it hasn't got here yet and haven't seen it yet.

Cut some along the lake yesterday that the flood eroded until they fell over. Had to cut the stuff above the wet sand level to make sure it was dry it sounded like bowling pins when tossed in the pile. LOL

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
