I have 3 primary calibers I am going to suppress. 300 WM, 270 WSM, and 22-250. I recently shot a 300 with a Scythe Ti and was happy with the decibel level. However, after a little internet research I found complaints and enough failures to have me concerned. MNost of the guys on here are pretty straight up about things, so I trust the opinions here Vs most of the Googly stuff I found.
Additionally, it was suggested to me to get a caliber specific end cap for each caliber I am using. 22cal for the 250, 270 cal for the 270WSM and so on. As I browse through the abundant amount of sites, I see very few caliber options. Typically 9mm, 223, and 30.
So my questions are 1. What brand/model are you most satisfied with and is it a caliber specific can/end cap?

I didn't state it earlier, dedicated cans to the rifle. I'm not messing around with swapping stuff.

I have a couple Dead-Air Sandman and use the 30cal end cap and they are currently on a 5.56 AR/thermal setup. The other is on a bolt gun in 6ARC. I have mounting systems on several others that I can swap out quickly

I'm at 7 cans now, all of mine are dedicated to a certain rifle. I have the Banish 30 on two guns, .22-250 and a .30-06 and 2 Banish 5.56 on my ARs. Then I have three .22 cans, one on a pistol and one on . 10-22. I haven't decided what I'm going to put my third .22 can on yet.

It maybe the ultimate youth rifle.

I went with a resilient rambling man 46 then bought the direct thread end caps for 5/8-24 and 1/2-28
so far have run it on 45-70 , 9mm and 223
so not the most efficient can for the smaller calibers but 223 is supersonic and will crack no matter what.
the 9mm AR was hearing safe , they were 147gr so they were sub sonics and 100 yards away on a windy day you could not even hear the person shooting over the truck running. had to shut off the truck and step out of it to hear my son shooting 100 yards away. it was a cold day and I was wearing a walking boot so not moving a lot and socked toes exposed to the cold so I didn't stay outside too long.
I need to work up a sub sonic load for the 45-70 yet but it should be as quiet or more quiet than 9mm as it will have a locked breach and fill the bore of the suppressor

the recommendation is you put the can on the scale when you get it , then write down your weight in grams that way you know when it is time to clean because it has gained weight

What's everyones favorite .30 cal suppressor for a hunting rifle? More of a western style hunting then a stand hunting style? Bonus if its gray or silverish. Scythe Ti went with the Rearden direct thread, on the mounting, to work with my 9/16”x24” barrel threading. 30 cal cap. It’s permanent on my 30-06 super Fudd rifle. Sick ‘lil monkey. Cerakoting is cheap, these days. My rig is done up dark.
