We have been 10 to 20 degrees above normal for most of the winter. The long term forecast doesn't look any better. I haven't been ice fishing and there is little snow. I live in Idaho because I enjoy four seasons but especially fall and winter. I wish we would get back to normal.

Winter is stuttering here too, snow, cold then warm and a thaw, cold coming back by weekend, single digits overnight. I like it to stay winter until spring too. The ice here is scary around the edges.

Winter took up residence in Alaska. The interior hasn't been above 0 since early Dec. Many days of 30 to 50 below. Would be glad to give it back to the lower 48!

How do humans , or any life for that matter , live in that harsh of an environment?

Supposed to get an inch of snow at the Ga-Fl line this coming Sunday....if so, that'll be 2 winters in a row. Got 3" last January.

Used to be rare......now....not so much.

Been warm here in KS. Supposed to get a little chilly next few days. Only had a handfull of cold days. Still time for that to change.

we have had snow more then we have had in a few years, and some rain also, very cold with daytime highs in the single digits, and some 40s degrees day, over 2 feet of ice where I'm fishing

40s and 50s here during the daytime some colder weather coming will see if it lasts.

I’m about 2.5 hours south of Sundance and same thing here - no snow and unseasonable warm. We’ve had 2 snow falls this winter, each about an inch or so each time and gone within 2 days!! Lived here over 50 years and don’t remember ever having a “winter” like this.

I’m tired of looking at brown - I need something white on the ground for extended periods of time. A friend in western NY state has offered to send me some snow - he has plenty! If only it was possible, I would take a boxcar full - railroad runs right through my town!!!

Had snow cover from day before Thanksgiving. Driving on the St.Croix river with trucks. Its winter here. At 45 degrees north and above.

We got snow around Election Day, that melted. But i think it’s been white here since Thanksgiving.

That is a beautiful area to snowmobile Newfox, love it up there! I try to avoid Tug Hill when I go up, I had a sled give up on me on the Stillwater Reservior one trip, and it was still a great trip. Glad to hear the snow is holding up ferda clubs and local businesses.

Snow is to deep for Boo's short legs !
