Our son and daughter in law bought us a digital picture frame. The brand name is frameo. I am not very tech savvy but they can send pictures from their smart phone to the picture frame. We really enjoy all the real time pictures. I thought some of maybe interested in this. Stay warm in the next few days.

So basically a stationary large screen "phone" that accepts texted photos and nothing else... I imagine there's a sim card of some kind to store the photo's?

That's awesome. I haven't followed any tech upgrades on digital frames for nearly 25 years now. But we got my parents a couple digital frames back in the day and regularly put new images on SD cards (actually it started with 3.5 floppys) and swapped the disc at almost every visit. We stopped updating when the girls were off to college. But until the day Dad passed, he put the old cards in those frames and watched them almost every day. I don't know the brand, but two of those cheap things lasted about 20 years

I was told Ring cameras has something too you can add to the network of cameras or devices for doing similar pic viewing

My brother got my parents one. I really enjoyed going over and looking at all the rotating pics. Very nice
