Guys, I can find nothing about this much opposition when the Eisenhower administration started cracking down on immigration.
I can’t help but see some similarities between today and things that lead up to the awful bloody conflict our country had in 1861-1865.

Folks firmly rooted in their principles and ideologies… if Donald does indeed invoke the inserection act, this could bust it wide open.

Eisenhower had no problem invoking it to integrate Central High in Little Rock. Federalized the National Guard and mobilized the 101st Airborne.
Trump should have invoked it during his last administration but didn't. I don't reckon he will this time either. One of my dislikes of Trump.
