Had roast like that almost every Sunday when I was growing up. Never got tired of it!

I just finished up a venison vegetable stew. Just needs to simmer for about four hours, and it will be ready for tonight‘s supper.

Laurie has pork ribs in the oven, i think we’re having Mac salad with em.

We have a pork roast with onions in the crockpot. I have to add potatoes and carrots soon.

Yep, here too. Pot roast went in the oven before leaving for Sunday school and then church. And if the preacher wasn't done by noon sharp, mom was getting worried about the roast over-cooking.

We did venison backstrap medallions over wild rice with onions and peppers tonight. One of my favorites. Cut the medallions 3/8 - 1" thick, toss in a hot cast iron pan with oil and butter for 1 minute, flip and turn off the heat. Eat when they stop sizzling.
