Yes I am calling myself the Old Man now as I am no longer The Boy as Robert Ruark once said. I put out a few coyotes snares for fun over the weekend, just toff a level B road and well... ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/01/full-309-282968-20260121_172014.jpg) Find the coyote lol ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/01/full-309-282965-20260121_172244.jpg) Size on the side lock box ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/01/full-309-282966-20260121_172129.jpg) Didnt tear up much at all. Not a great color coyote but very big 40pounder I feel, as well as the best furred I ever caught (big male)

She was curled up not asleep, just worn out and trying not to freeze, I think I could have possible petted her as i got within 2 feet and she just moved her eyes, big pretty girl ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/01/full-309-283339-20260124_151602.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/01/full-309-283340-20260124_152151.jpg) Has a white tipped tail too

almost got bitten by one of those coyotes that was just exhausted from fighting the trap once it was deer season and i thought the guys had shot it in my trap i reached down to grab it by the ear too flip it over and just as i was about to grab it i saw its eyes blink and follow my hand Did that to a coon in a snare once, thought he was dead went to pick him up just about had a hold of his tail and he growled!
