In Alaska, we boiled a lot of prawns and shrimp. Always tried to use ocean water. Last edited by alaska viking; Yesterday at 07:38 PM. Just doing what I want now.

mad_mike trapper M Joined: Jan 2008 49th State	Old Bay is a good change up. I steam my crab, mostly. Half cup of salt and about a gallon of tap water. Shrimp get sautéed in butter, wine, salt, pepper, and lemon. Or they get incorporated into a recipe.
