How many of those members are active?

That's my question also. Of that 41000+ members, I would bet there are a good number that haven't been on in years. And I would guess that there are a good number who have passed on.

It depends on how you define active. There's many more viewers than posters. Usually only a relatively small number, of only regular posters, post on any given day. There's lots of members, but most are silent.

Most of us regulars now know each other pretty well from the forum, from talking on the phone, personal messages and meeting in person. When you interact with a bunch of the same people for over 15 years, you end up knowing them pretty well. More than a few guys from Trapperman stop by my farm every year and I usually visit a few too. I've talked to many members on the phone.
