I spent the first 25 years of my life in western NY where lake effect snow was the norm. We had a bad ice storm there in the late 80s but not like this. Then I spent a decade in Illinois with its howling wind chills and drifting, packed snow. But I have never seen a winter storm do this amount of damage. I've seen tornadoes do less damage than this!!! The devil's greatest trick isn't making us think he doesn't exist. It's flattering us. So we don't see..... the devil is us.
