Head East and REO Speedwagon used to get my attention when they'd play at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA. But my all-time favorite was seeing Neil Diamond when he played in Ames, IA, in about 86' or 87'.

Not a big concert goer but saw John Denver at a coliseum. He was the first person on the stage and the last person to leave. When the band took a break, he kept right on picking and singing. No warm up group. Just John and his band.
The lost opportunity was Willie Nelson in Tokyo. I was there for work and did not go. I bet that would have been a good time!

Blue Öyster Cult used to always have a great laser light show. Seen them 3X
I seen Van Halen , just my luck , they were filming for a video at that show. They played their hearts out and for longer than normal because of it.

Back in the 70s when I first met my wife we saw the 3 Dog Night in concert. They were awesome. Being a lover of classical piano music I once saw Van Cliburn perform. He was an amazing pianist. We've also seen Johnny Cash, a true American patriot. Loretta Lynn was great too.
Imagine a cereal so bad adding two scoops of raisins made it better.

Loudest..... Mountain (spittin' distance.)
I was there, I think.........Santana and/or The Allman Brothers...... Marshall Tucker Band of the 70's..... honorable mention.
Missed it..... Pink Floyd, Traffic, and the Grateful Dead

Don Williams at the Carlton Dinner Theater in Bloomington back in the mid 80's. Came out and sang about 6 songs, introduced the band and then said, I'm not a man with a lot of fancy wordage, so I'll just sing. And then he did for another hour or more.

I saw Pink Floyd at The Vet in Philly - awesome show Lynyrd Skynyrd here in Iowa 18th row was amazing sill had Billy Powell on Piano and 2 original guitarists
Best by far last year Paul McCartney in Des Moines - blew every other show away!
Elton John farwell tour was a close second to McCartney
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure
