True story.. back in the 40’s people really did use corn cobs to wipe with.. if you were lucky, you had a old sears and roebuck catalog to use as toliet paper..
one day my great aunt was visiting her kin folk out in the country.. two of the little girls that lived there begged to come home with my aunt to spend a few days in town.. when their mother agreed.. they were overjoyed… one hollered out.. whoooo weeee.. we get to wipe with paper!!!!

Edit.....after this morning's business my favorite toilet paper is one that doesnt stick to the band-aid on my finger on my wiping hand.
