went out for about 90 minutes and stopped counting at 40. there is no limit on private waters. I darn sure didnt keep that many, most were too small. In the process of building an aeration system in a 120 quart cooler with a 12 volt system so i can move at least 500 to other private lakes in which the owners want them.

I've had a lot of luck removing crappie to get the averages bigger in ponds. Usually takes a couple of years. Bass too.

Yep, gonna be a process but got to get on it. this place has some huge bass in it too. I would think they are working these small crappie over big time and i know they are, just way too many for them to ingest.

I'll be right down. Snow fever here.
Cleaning up an old bamboo rod now.

Had good luck making a 12v pump from a
junk car windshield washer motor.

The crappie hatch first and eat the hatching
bass is what the biochik told me.
I'd rather eat the crappie lol.

Do you think small crappie in a place with small crappie has the genetics to be big crappie in another pond?

I know a place covered up with crappie but there are so many the same medium size...

Scientifically speaking its a crappie shoot right? lol.

Seriously though large crappie prob have the best genetics to grow other large crappie yes and if you stock all dinks you just don't know do you?
