I have six daughters so here is just a couple. My daughter Eve just became a RN but has always had a passion for Hospice. So any time there is a fundraiser (pancake dinner, etc.) she makes sure I attend and donate (well). She donates her time with many locals in need of care. An odd one is a couple of my daughters and I donate blood together. Although last night was a younger sister's high school basketball game, most days after donating we grab dinner and talk. How about you all? Father son stories also count but I just don't have one. lol

My youngest was my full-time trapping partner for ten years between the ages of ten and twenty. She currently works two part-time jobs and is putting herself through nursing school. We hunt pheasants when we get the chance but lately that is not often. My granddaughter is now my full-time trapping partner.

My oldest two were into trap shooting with me for a long time. My oldest is a foreign service officer and is currently stationed in Chile so...

My middle daughter is raising a two-year-old and is partners in a paving company with my son-in-law and is very busy.

Enjoy every minute you can with them before life happens and those opportunities to share activities slip away.

My daughter is only 8. So far our favorites are riding horse and fishing. Last summer we broke an 18yr old mini pony together. Doubt either of us will ever forget that experience.

Def. did a lot of outdoor stuff with the girls (just a couple pics I could quick grab). Will admit only 5 of 6 took to the ways of the outdoors. lol

Daughter stops here every night after work to have a glass of wine with me. She wanted new earmuffs so we caught some rats. They are on the way to moyles now. Two more daughters that live about 90 miles from me in different directions. We make family time to all get together.

My 16 yr old grand daughter cleaning five deer in one night - her boyfriend was down and she had to show him how to do it!

Whatever I'm doing, I try and include my daughter. Her mom and I divorced 5 years ago and I only have her every other week, so I make the most of the time I have with her. She's gonna be 11 in a couple weeks and I'm cherishing the time I have with her now before the teen years

My little girl is almost four. She likes to "fight" with me, little boxing matches that I enjoy the heck out of. She also likes trapping with me, and going on daddy/daughter dates for french fries.

Took this today, my two and three year old trap with me pretty much every good weather day we have, which is most this winter

I meet my 26 year old daughter in the farm shop at 7:oo every morning before she leaves for work at 7:30. I make her breakfast every Friday morning on the Blackstone. We hunt deer together most of the time and whoever shoots the smallest buck buys supper. I had to buy this year.

Try to keep them in the outdoors as much as I can. Teaches a lot of life lessons, regardless of whether or not they stick to it in the future. We’re having fun!

my oldest is an art teacher so art museums some times , they also really like coffee so we go out for coffee

my son is a tool and die maker. we do all sorts of stuff together , he lives at my house , hunting , fishing , trapping and competitive shooting.

my youngest is a pastry chef , and likes thrifting and cooking so we talk cooking stuff and go thrifting some and make all sorts of food for holidays.

they are all adults so we do less and less as they get busier in their careers

I still talk to all of them at least weekly and there is a text group for all of us that seldom goes a day without some activity.

Barrel racing and trapping, if I'm not working then we are doing one or the other.

A little bit of everything, this evening it was helping me put up some temporary signage on a failing snowmobile trail river crossing, she was the designated pink tape holder and lathe stabilizer! Being 5, she is of course into playing simple board and card games, playing with play dough and slime, etc. She loves fishing (and tends to out fish her big brother), checking beaver trap (and others but the last few years it’s been mainly beaver) snowmobiling, and being goofy. Goofiness is one of both of our better qualities. Everyone always says it flies by so fast, and so far I can surely vouch for that! Happy trapping! ScottW
