Agree, the rock touch is a whatever, there are infractions in every sport that are dealt with in the rules. Calling it “cheating “ is as big a stretch as saying that about a facemask in football. But, the reaction was totally lame and a bad look for an athlete from anywhere on earth.

lol, only if the athlete reacted in the same clownlike manner. Infractions happen in every sport. It’s not cheating when you slash the opponent in hockey, it’s a penalty. In curling the rock touched doesn’t count. As a Canadian, I hope they don’t win just because of the reaction.

Personally I'd rather watch Curling than figure skating.
If it's a rule it should at least be stopped.

The Canadian team actually got mad at the Swedish team filming, because Canada already had a reputation for cheating in curling. They weren't ashamed of their cheating or apologetic about it. They were just mad that someone caught them on film. They should be permanently banned from curling.

Canadian women’s curling team got caught doing the same thing.

This has been blown way out of proportion. What sells though, good or bad? The reaction was ridiculous but still, banned lol. This type of thing regularly happens in curling, infraction or not. Great Britain has also been called for it now at Milano and now there are people judging something they have no experience doing. There are even videos you can find of John Shuster double touching at the 2018 Olympics. The difference between the thousands of times before and now is that Sweden tried to use it to get an edge on the world’s biggest stage in a game after a poor Olympic start. The reaction was terribly unsportsmanlike but banned , cmon. Throw the astros from mlb, forget the Hall of Fame for Brady, the list goes on and on and on. Even Ryan Lochte only got ten months suspension for that gong show where he got wasted at the Olympics, participated in vandalism and public urination and went on US T.V saying he had been robbed at gunpoint. It only blew up in his face when his teammates told the truth. If that isn’t good for an Olympic lifetime ban, should a touch that forced your team to lose the rock be?

If it was me I would have grabbed that camera toting swede by the ears and pulled him toward me and head butted him hard on the beak to get his eyes watering good,then give him a good hard finger knuckel punch to the windpipe,then when he hit the ground I would kick him in the face hard about 6 times with my hob nailed ice boots.
