Back during covid some folks were taking ivermectin. Anynody remember the dosage and how often?
I just had a bad round of flu and trying to bounce back.

If you're taking the wormer paste just set the plunger for your weight, or close to it....you'll probably end up with about a half inch of paste or a little more

I thought a while back the medical community made it ok to get a script from your Dr fir it???

1 ML/100 is close enough on the dosage in the 1% injectable. Squirt it in some juice once a month and you’re good to go.

I hav used the horse paste for my dogs for decades, but never tried myself.
look on the ingreds and make sure its only Ivermectin, and remember the whole tube is for a 12OO lb horse.. so about an inch of paste is right if youre a 2OO lb human..

I giv my 55/7O-ish lb GSDs a large bean-szied dollop for approx 3 days in a row..

I dont use ivermectin per se, but febedazole and pyrantyl pamoate as german shepherds dont tolerate ivermectin as well..

I do it this way instead of going to the vet for each dog, charged an office visit, wellness check, RX, etc, because the one tube ($12) lasts for an entire year easily..

I use the paste. Don't let anybody tell you it tastes like apple. lol

couple weeks ago the family all started getting a cold/flu that was going around and we took a dose for a couple days and were cleared up completely by the 3rd day

I have been hesitant to because I am not one who likes medicine in general.
Thinking this would be nice as long as colds hang around with me.

Seen an ad on TV for it I was kind of surprised to see an ad for human parasite infection it was kind of strange. I had a lot of issues from that shellacking those chiggers gave me last fall a few hundred bites has had some strange reactions to my system the last several months. My latest blood test from my annual check up yesterday came back with some indications of possible parasite complications in my blood.

The chiggers were bad enough but then I was stung by a hornet moving wood and I was breaking out in bumps I had to take Benadryl for to control them. I thought maybe it was a allergic reaction to the volume of toxin from the chigger bites. Will see where it goes from here.

If I get some prescribed I’ll let you know what’s up then.

Worked great for my wife and a couple other people when they got the kung flu. Guess they had worms? Its seems like a follow the $ thing, I don't always trust the science.

I had some but got outta the habit of taking it. Just got over the flu and my wife nurse reminded me. Just wondering how much how often.

We were vaccinating pigs. The application had to be done in the ear. On one uncooperative pig I stuck the needle all the way through the ear and into my buddies hand. He said he never got worms.
