Anyone remember a fur buyer in Niagara County New York? I can't for the life of me remember his name...

The devil's greatest trick isn't making us think he doesn't exist. It's flattering us. So we don't see..... the devil is us.

I sold a pile of fur to Jack myself! Later on, I moved to where I live now, and Jack had a cottage on a canal off Houghton Lake's west shore.....he'd let me fish specs there in the spring when they run up into the canal to find warm water after ice-out. I don't remember if I sold my very first fur to Jack, if not him, then Ken Webb in Stanton. This would have been in the late '60's.

No idea of any individual buyers but , when I was a kid, I'd sell in the parking lot behind Richards Brothers Market in West Plains, Mo.. Used to be able to get $30 for a big raccoon in the round. Kid you not. Usually would be several different buyers present.

Some of the other Ozarks guy might remember.
