Has anyone tried these? I ran across them on eBay. Just looks like a dug up trap to me.

One more thing to boil, drill the bottom out for water to drain, figure out how to keep dirt from under the pan, etc. Another gimmick.

What do they cost? I'm guessing that most any critter would make short work of it.

$45 for six. I don’t see any use for them. Just struck me as strange. Same person has 3d printed #2 bridgers. That’s how a came across the beds.

You still have to dig a hole for the trap and levers to insert the beding device. Might just as well bed them as usual.

Not sure how it is going to freeze proof anything unless you are setting exposed cat sets, still have to prevent your cover from freezing. And first time it rains or snow melts (that nice black bedding device is really going to draw heat if you try and use it in snow) the trap is going to freeze to the "bed."

I guess they will help the people with there inability to bed a trap.
Looks like more junk to buy and haul around.

You’d still have to bed that thing to start with. Agree…not worth the hassle.

Reminds me of a deal someone did in here a while back has something. Took a old long cut it in half length wise chipped out a trap bed on one end then a bowl in the other for lure , bedded the trap in wakes dirt and would anchor it in creeks , when the creek froze it would become a flast set

I mean I guess if you got nothing but mud or something you can just stop a hole pop this in sloshed the mess around it and just use you dry dirt on top ..maybe idk
