Ours has been bad for the last 5 years. Not just packages but mail is terrible. We may get mail once a week if lucky and with the App USPS we know what we are suppose to get. We got mail tax info 18 days after it was sent. That is common and have complain about it many times and they have no answers and don't fix the problem.

Mail started to really suck when they shut down local sorting and did the major hubs. I been mailing some packages again recently. Watching the tracking is just crazy. Package just sitting or worse going back and forth between hubs. No idea how or why that happens but watching is frustrating. Like everything else get what you pay for I guess.

When ordering things online , If they don't offer UPS, or FedEx , only USPS, I'm out. The USPS, is a laughing joke. Can't understand why mail can't be sorted like it used to be. Has to go to the big citiies, be sorted, then routed back. Average mail being picked up by carrier, and on average 7/8 days later dilivered, and only mailed it 20 miles away. There tracking system, is piece of work, heck they don't know where package is most of the time. There quote, on it's way

I see this come up on here often, and it always makes me nervous about my using them for my shipping most of the time !!
Yet I have never had to complain about my service or have heard from any customer saying bad about them, though I have had on occasions customers ask for UPS or Fed-Ex to ship, and it always is more expense, what with the travel to an outlet and the cost is always more, but you know keep the customer happy.
I have shipped all over this country with postal and can't remember one time that sticks out about terrible service, wish I could say the same about UPS or Fed-Ex though
I always ask how people want their order shipped, and I always use priority as well with insurance on large, or expensive orders, sometimes even signature if I feel the need ! Don't know if thats the parting line or not though, could be no one has mentioned if they use that avenue either !

Look at the bright side Keith. By the time those plants get to you they'll be ready to pick!

Look at the bright side Keith. By the time those plants get to you they'll be ready to pick! Hopefully they are watering them and giving them some light. I had some pigeons take 9 days to arrive the year before last. They surprisingly all made it alive. I used to ship about 3500 pigeons a year. With the extreme increase in shipping and mistakes, I ship very few now. It used to cost $42.40 to ship 24 pigeons to the West Coast. It was $476.80 the last time I did it and it is even higher now. Keith The bad part is they will not take any responsibility if the plants are belly up when you get them they will default to the perishable clause no matter how unreasonable the delivery time is and what you paid for the service. They will jerk you around with having you do endless appeals until you give up. It’s how they roll!

Had a package coming from Arizona and it ended up at a post office 10 miles from our post office. The item sat there for 2 days now just looked and it is now 70 miles from our post office in another one. Was suppose to have it last Friday. If I did my job that poorly I wouldn't have a job any more. Don’t feel bad in December I ordered a makeup organizer off Etsy then I realized it was coming from Odessa Ukraine lol it gets all the way to 2 different post office 20 miles from the house and as I got there they said it was shipped back to St. Louis. After a 13 day 600 mile trek it made it to St. Louis and a few days later to the house . The package was in horrible condition but the organizer was perfect so yeah they are inefficient
