Pretty incredible critters. #3 bridger dogless modified offset. Edit- this was on my coyote line. Wolf season closed Last edited by Big Timber; 02/25/26 12:35 PM.

JBS trapper J Joined: Feb 2020 montana	I have a couple dozen Bridger 3s that I set for cats in locations I am concerned about lions. My hope is that if I catch a lion it will flex the base enough to pop the jaws just like that. Unless you are on the east side with the season still open, I would say that is the best possible scenario that could happen when catching a lion or a wolf past season. I would for sure be setting different traps or bubbling the jaws for next year since that would be heart breaking to have that happen 2 weeks ago. The cool thing is you did everything well enough to catch a wolf.
