just curious if it actually does work. its so dry here currently aint to concerned about skeeters, however, when a drought breaks it will be like it was three years ago with 90 plus inches of rain in 7 weeks. then we will have skeeter that can flat footed breed a full grown turkey.

Look up a plant called, Cymbopogon Nardus, It smells like citronella. They really help keep the skeeters away. I don't know about lavender except it smells nice.

You can plant citronella grass, which is more effective than lavender against mosquitos. It's easy to grow and the source of citronella oil used to repel mosquitoes all around the world. There's two species Cymbopogon nardus and Cymbopogon winterianus.

We bought plugs last year, to grow out and resell for 6 cents each. We sold them for $2.00 each to $5.00 each grown out.
