The boys brought the dog out at about 0600. When they came back in they wouldn't quit talking about how it felt like turkey season out there.

Good pics Swamp Wolf. We've got 5-6 weeks before we can start chasing them, and we're all riled up already.

No strutting yet here that I have noticed but those big birds sure are enjoying the nice weathah.

I seen some up high in the rock cliffs a few days ago while at the ranch. I was over a 3/4 mile away zoomed in and expanded the picture some more to be able to see them.

I had that same thought this morning walking into work. Sure feels and sounds like early turkey season this morning.

I was doing some office work in the kitchen yesterday and a few loud gobbles rocked the house. I got up to go out to see what all the ruckus was. There were 3 longbeards very close to the house showing off. That was the first gobbles I have heard this year.

How many birds are you allowed down there? We just get one here. And if I happen to break a leg, do I qualify for that mobility impaired season? Lol.

March is coming in real gentle like here. Makes me think it’s going to go out like a monster if the old saying is true. In like a lamb, out like a lion.

Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.

Big Sam,
Two gobbler limit in Georgia.

Only one gobbler per day.

Broke leg won't get you in a week earlier.....state lists the mobility restrictions.

Well dang. I was going to throw a cast on and drive down. I guess I'll have to either get legit handicapped, or do it the normal way. Thank you Swamp Wolf for the response.
