Running out of targets that float. I just read that a second warship is now in the same area and is pleading with Sri Lanka to allow them to anchor up in their port. They are claiming engine problems. They are now more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs...

If so they are only allowed to come in to a neutral port for a specified time (72hrs???) for repairs or humanitarian reasons. Past that time they face impoundment for the duration. The neutral port could face sanctions, aiding a combatant, if they don't enforce the rules. Look up the Battle of the River Plate and the Graf Spree to see how those rules applied.

Didn't the British sink a ship with a submarine fired torpedo during the Falklands conflict ?

Didn't the British sink a ship with a submarine fired torpedo during the Falklands conflict ? Yes, the Admiral Belgrano. She was originally the USS Phoenix light cruiser that served in the pacific during WWII, later sold to Argentina.
