Sad part is Id rather hear that than the rap crap today. I told a black buddy one time the biggest problem with rap is that not everyone can relate to it. Most white folks can’t relate to riding down the street waiting for something to pop off so you can cap someone. Slinging dope for money. Wearing your pants down because you’re so hood. All people black, white, brown, etc can relate to heartache, working hard for a living, the love of a good woman, religion, etc. All subjects commonly found in country music.
