I stretch some mink today that were fur out an laid flat in freezer since November, did have freezer burn, dark grey or blue color an feet were dry out, well they slip to? The rats seem to be ok

They should be okay if you are extremely careful in thawing and putting up proces. You can try to lightly flesh the areas but the damage is done and the best thing is to salvage what u can. You should always roll up your furs and I tell everyone to double seal in large plastic ziplocs this helps ensure that freezer burn does not occur.

Mostly just notice the feet are dry out an look blue like unprimed an they should be prime

I had freezer burn issues years ago. Had moyles tanned a couple fox that year. Legs had freezer burn and turned out fine. I now wrap old towels on the bottom, sides and on top of the pile of fur. This helps keep freezer burn away.

Roll them up and put in a freezer bag with water. They will keep forever. Easy to do with mink or muskrat.

Save some bread bags throu out the year. roll the hide up, fur side out and store them in one of those bags. I used to try to stay even with the fleshing and putting them on boards but sometimes it's hard to do.
