Hopefully the courts will step in, but they shouldn't have to. There needs to be consiquences for passing such a bill.

The way it is written, it is more of a magazine ban than a firearm ban. For example, if you own an AR but only POSSESS 5 and 10 round mags, it doesn't meet the requirement. Had they written it as any weapon CAPABLE of accepting a 20 round mag, it would have been much worse.

A legislator I know said many of the democrats want to ban all semi auto rifles regardless of magazine size in MN.

I believe a lot of the time they don't understand what semi auto means and picture a full auto m16 when they use that term.

Women should never be in a leadership decision making role.
