Seems odd there are some on there that do not post on tman. Therefore, no reference. That's how I got started on here, a million years ago. I had some used traps to sell, so I joined the forum, probably didn't make a post other than to sell stuff for a year or two. I just trust everyone if they are selling something I want. Never been burned.

The Trap Shed probably has few issues, but anyone with a printer can print a fake personal check or money order and to add insult to injury, most banks charge you a fee for taking a bad one. I only take USPS money orders and PayPal from people I don't know and also take Zelle and Venmo from people I know, or have a connection with.
I only do cash on pickup.
Keith I have taken hundreds of personal checks from trappers over many years and have never gotten a bad check from any of them. Me too. Never had a problem with personal checks.

as a seller, paypal, ach, personal check - it really doesn't matter to me. I do a lot of online stuff and have found the two banks I use have pretty good aps. With the mobile deposits, its only a couple clicks and two pics and done. Check clears in about two days and I send the stuff out.
As buyer, the guys who "demand" a postal money order or cashiers check usually don't even know what they are really asking for. Both my banks do online bill pay and I can send a check to an individual. I just enter the info as a payee and send payment. Bank pulls the money from my account and sends a check for me. No fees and no stamps. I just tell the seller to expect an envelope from XXXXXXXX Bank that most likely will look like junk mail so DONT throw it away before opening it. When they get it, its a bank check from my bank with my name on it. Never had a problem and never had a seller question it

I usually do money orders. But there are a couple of gentlemen on here I've dealt with many times over so personal check works. I have done some PayPal dealings also.

PayPal charges a fee if a buyer pays me through them. Venmo has no charges.
57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

Venmo is the hot set up and like others I have never had a bad deal off the ttap shed. Venwho? Apparently not on HERE since you are what, the first or second one to say they have it??? LOL Post Venmo only in the trapshed and see how far anyone gets lol.
Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you
