What about that oil that was put in the reserves when the price of oil went negative during the covid? How much is left and how long would it last?

Your lawn mower and chainsaw will hate you for this!!!

Filling my lawn mower and chainsaw isn’t what’s hurting our pockets. Continue to use non E fuel in those, if you prefer.

And do a test yourself for the fuel mileage. Try E15 , I bet you’ll see little to no difference in mileage.

Got a large supply of corn. Biofuels are renewable.

35 years ago today I was hauling a bunch of victorious armored units back out of a desert. They had just secured the free flow of middle eastern oil.
What were the prices then?
I honestly don't know since it would still be a few months until I had to pay at the pump.

I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. O Lord please don't let me be misunderstood.

We are going to see the price go down soon.
We're fairly set up any more as far as oil production.
Producers , are going to gouge , but I don't think they'll get away with very long.

Gas was still higher under the last guy. Wife had a memories post pop up from i think 5 years ago and it was $1.00 per gal more on that day. Gas goes up and down always has. When the tank is geting low I buy it regardless.

All of this is controlled on the comodity market via traders using anything to make the dollar either at a short or long bet . As far as oil is concerned it’s produced by the earth and has nothing to do with dead dinosaurs and I’m a geology major.

What does it mean when you don’t even look at the price anymore?

The US produces 21% of the world's oil. That puts us at the top of the list. Oil prices are not set by the producers, but by international bidders.

I suppose we could run out, but I hope not.

I think it’s funny when I see people who complain about gas prices idling 15 cars deep at a Starbucks waiting for an $8 cup of coffee. And probably drove a few miles out of their way to get there as well. grin

Yes that is a waste but when compared to trucks using .64 gallons of fuel for every hour they idle, with all the truck transport in the USA that is billions of dollars per year. They estimate 8-10% of the fuel semis use per year is while they idle. Many may be investing in APUs to cut back on that.
