I absent Mindly forgot to put in belly wedge on 2 mink, they are stuck right now, I just try put them in freezer, would slit them up the belly side devalue the pelt? What other way is there ? I read that put in freezer would work to get them off?

I've done that with otter several times. Like elsmasho said. a few good hard taps on the nose. Then I put the bottom of the board in a vise and used leather gloves for grip and was able to pull them off. I would think mink would be a bit easier?

Overnight wrap in some moist paper towels and they come right off next day.

Don't need to be over-saturated. Moist enough if you squeeze a handful of it some water comes out.

Sprinkle snow on both side then let it melt wait about and hour put board in vice grab nose with pliers and pull

Yup a warm damp towel works wonders, doesn’t take very long, then put bottom board in a vice and pull it off. Done it many times when I forgot belly board.

Just do what beaverpeeler is telling you. It works. Damp cloth works, don’t over think about it. Key word is DAMP!! Not WET!!

Wrap them with a damp towel to get them pliable then insert belly wedge & redry. Do this ^^ Take a towel and get it good and wet with warm/hot water then wring out all the water you can. Wrap it in the towel and in fifteen minutes it should come right off. Or if you don't have warm water available you can do as beaverpeeler says, but if you use warm/hot water it absorbs it a lot faster and limbers up a lot faster. Doesn't take long at all. I've done this to get stubborn hides off stretchers a few times, and routinely do this turning hides.

Sell the hides with the board included. that's what I would end up doing For awhile there, the board would've been worth more than the hide
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

If it is damp enough, you should be able to tug it off. It won't just fall off, but with a little coaxing, you will get it. You can add water to your towel, don't worry. You just don't want it dripping wet.

If he wrapped in in damp towels overnite your 89 year old granny can likely yank it off the board for him.
