Recent gun auction sold 527 seized guns for 82,299.10. Average of $156.00 a gun. These guns are all sold to one winning FFL bidder as one lot. Seems to my feeble mind , that they would do much better with an online auction selling to individuals. Ant thoughts?

Our DNR holds auctions and sells off confiscated guns to individuals. From what I've seen, they sell for more than I think they ought to, just like any farm auctions.

All seized guns? If so, I bet there were a lot of AR's, AK's and pistols in that lot. There's more then one person making big money I'd have to say.

They sold to a dealer in Georgia . I just think the state is missing out on a lot of money . I saw one seizure pic where there were a lot of 10-22's and several model 94 and 336 rifles.

Here in Pa, the PGC got out of the seizure business. Courts don’t allow it now. They can take illegally killed game, and they can hold guns for evidence. But when a case is adjudicated, the guns are returned.

Quite possibly a "straw buyer", bought with fed tax dollars then scrapped.

It’s called a Rigged Auction. Just like every thing else in government. You should file a freedom of information form
on how and why the Auction was performed this way ! You will find that it was rigged. Would make a great store or Fox News for sure. Put it on them.
