The Trap Talk forum has numerous posts on state association fur sales and the high prices western bobcats are bringing.
Anyone sold lynx? Arctic Raw Fur doesn't have any prices on his FB page.

I haven’t talked to Mattie or Bill on Lynx but I was told Mattie is paying $200-$250 for large males. This was late January.

Overall average at FHA with 100% sold, good, bad, and ugly, eastern Canada all the way to Alaska was $351.86 all in. 100% sale with buyers still burning up with wanting more.

Getting better for sure.
Got a few more on the June sale coming up.
The Chinamen and Koreans told FHA to hold all the fur they bought until after the june sale. They are coming back for the rest of the fur in June and only want to ship once.

Remember the March sale of cats were holdovers. If locale buyer are posting prices like they did for marten. It would seem they are offering 1/2 of auction prices. How many trappers sold marten locally and left $100+ on the table?

Hoping my marten do well at the Summer auction. We can't even get to our line till late December. Most guys over here don't even start lynx or marten trapping til Late December or January due to low snow. Usually they trap water critters til we get enough snow to travel farther afield.

Glad you got that price for half a marten. Makes me hopeful for one shrew chewed, one marten chewed, and one teenager chewed (that a teenager I've been taking with me pulled the tail off while he was learning to skin.) That I sent in.
