Our church is doing an episode each Sunday night and then having a discussion after watching.

YES’ Some people are upset by it… We don’t know what JESUS was like outside of the gospels…but I would tend to think that he may have been like how Jonathan romie plays him… We always seem to see paintings and statues of a serious JESUS… why don’t we ever see him smiling? He had to have been very freindly… especially when reading how the children would flock to him.

As long as your are in your Bible and can see the "fact" from the "fiction" I think it's a great show. Just not great for those that will watch and not verify
Gotta live up to the nickname...

We watched, The Faithful: Women of the Bible last night. Very interesting, followed the bible pretty well. Was about Abraham, Sarai, and Hagar mostly.
Every time I laugh, cough, or sneeze, my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

According to critics, the two most acclaimed "Jesus" movies are, Jesus of Nazareth and The Passion of the Christ. my parents are getting everyone to watch the passion apparently its really good...though I've heard it is very true too what happens so it is very gruesome...hope gruesome is the right word.
listen money cant buy happiness but it can buy traps, fishing lures and guns witch is practically the same thing.

It was directed by Mel Gibson. He took some flack from some critics saying it was too brutal. Gibson said he was just portraying how the bible described it.

how brutal coyote.just want your thoughts you mean the Passion? Well... It's very... Let's just say it's how you'd picture it. How it says in the Bible. Very similar to how it probably actually was. I would say it is appropriately rated R. It didn't ever like give me nightmares or anything; also, the first and second times we watched it my parents skipped a couple parts cuz I was only like 10 when I first watched it

Read the gospel’s of the new testament and fact check for yourself. Other than what Coondagger said, I love the show. I am 3 episodes away from the end of the series. Its good to see a show like this when most of tv is full of filth and disfunction and it has become so normalized (Taylor Sheridan shows for example). Throuroughly enjoying it! Jesus loves us all so much, even those that deny and dont accept him. He wants none of us to perish. He knocks at the door, all we have to do is open it. Thank God for the King Of Kings/ Lord of Lords!
