Are you bringing a boat? Otter tail county has some of the best pan fishing in the state unfortunately if you are locked into a cabin and rental boat on otter tail lake your pan fishing options are poor. I heard the perch are starting to come back ( used to produce a lot of eating size) years back. Still a very good walleye lake and the bobber over the side of the boat with a leach for bait should put some fish in the boat for you.
Even a blind chicken gets some corn

Stuck on Ottertail and pontoon makes it rough, I would try Dead Lake with Kayak. PM and I could give you some spots.
GUK.....it's the sound they make when they hit the end of the cable

I live about 20 minutes from there. Ottertail Lake will be a tough one to sit and bobber fish all day. If you can make across the road via the river you can try Walker Lake. River is only a couple hundred yards from lake to lake if the water is high enough. Or the mouth of the river on either side wouldn’t be bad but not much for depths. Good luck That is the only access point correct? No public landings.

Rush is a good pan fish lake. Even take your kayaks north and west a bit towards Dent. Fished a few of those. Many good lakes in that area. X2, excellent ice fishing for big sunnies/crappies. Never fished it in the summer but its a good overall lake, good bass fishing too.
