Nights like this are full of pain.

Good morning I have those nights also.

I hear ya. I've been up since 3, after going to bed at ten. I guess I'll start work early today.

I haven't slept good in a year.

Haven't slept good since the youngest left the nest!
But now it's starting to get to me, need to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep now.

I had to cut all caffeine out. Not even a little in the morning. I'd fall asleep fine and wake up four hours later like I just had the best nap. That's with just a normal cup of coffee. In the morning. If I drink a large McDonalds coffee at 6am I may not fall asleep right away for a few hours that night. Tossing and turning all night. If I drink a large McDonalds coffee it might actually take a few days for me to sleep right again b/c everything gets out of wack. People get carried away with these energy drinks. Everyone at the factory that drank those on the regular ended up with heart rhythm issues it seemed like.

Go four weeks without any caffeine and see what happens. No cheating. Just a suggestion.

I have trouble sleeping too but it seems like the more active/work I do in a day the better I sleep.

I slept good last night , Sunday I cut a load a firewood , Monday I unloaded and split it after work , something about firewood makes sleeping easier.

the more active , outdoors I am the easier sleep is.

what I need to focus on for the summer is , not using so much artificial light , let the sun tell me when it is time to sleep.

I have an appointment with the sleep center today for a consultation.

I took Ambien for 20+ years but was able to stop without much difficulty. Now my doctor will not prescribe it for someone my age. Fall hazard, he said.

I get by just well on a CBD gummy at bedtime. Would like to stop them as well. When I do stop, it is very hard to sleep more than an hour at a time.

Stopped all alcohol. Seems to help as well.

Strange, but if I go to bed before 11 pm, I fall asleep more easily than when I go to bed at midnight. Who can explain that?

I don't do much physical activity anymore.
Sleep about 3 hours and wide awake again.
I try to stay up as long as I can with just 3 hours, but ,like last night, it seemed I got a second wind.
I seldom take naps, but maybe I should.

There's some kind of program to teach military members a technique just for that, Don't know the name of it, and can't seem to find it online, but I believe it's for real. Anybody?

I have trouble sleeping often. Beer does help but I don't drink everyday.

I wake at 2 every night to pee. Many nights can't fall back asleep.

No more than2 hours before pain makes me wake up and shift, sometimes I go back to sleep sometimes i dont - sucks

I take sleep aid every night and still don't sleep good or long, doctor said part of getting old,

What do you take?

My Dr said melatonin is a good thing, but since it’s not regulated by the FDA, all these companies put way too much in a dose. 5 mg is too much and doesnt work. I also saw an article that it causes heart issues. I started ordering .5 mg doses and sleep better than i have in 10 years. Less is more

One CC and water, heavy on the water works good for me. The hard part is the “one”.
