Anybody still have 'em? I can't remember when the last time an interest payment was made but I do remember it was a significant amount.

Im pretty sure they paid them all out not long after the previous fur boom.I know I cashed mine in and the intrest paid was around 50 percent-got a nice payout.
For them to start issuing RPCs again the board would have to approve it.
I know the boards priority is to insure the viability of the auction house and mtc on the facility and marketing.
There is an American on the board representing american members.
He could likely answer any questions you have BP

So you no longer have any? I remember the big interest payment (like you said around 50%) but it was sent to me. I didn't do anything or turn in any certificates.

As far as issuing new ones I doubt that will ever happen. At the time I think the RPC's were a competitive posture with NAFA's "North American Fur Council" membership which discounted shipping and reduced selling commissions by 2%

If you're the only show in town no need anymore.

You got that backwards BP.
FHA had RPCs since they started or soon after,When the trappers and trappers councils and the UOI ponied up when the OTA went down in early 90s and started FHA as the sucessor to the Ontario Trappers assn auction house.
Nafa much later formed the WFSC to compete with FHA.I was a founding member of WFSC,since I shipped fur occasionally to NAFA.

I stand corrected on the detail then.

I'm still fuzzy on whether you no longer hold certificates though. You stated you cashed them in which leads me to believe you no longer hold any? Not that its anybody's business...just that I thought all the certificate holders got an interest payment without turning them in. There is a process for turning in the certificates for their face value but I've never done it.
