Anyone know of a reputable company/individual that can machine and thread rifle barrels. I am looking for some place to ship barrels to fit my suppressors. Can't find anyone local to do the work.

Haven’t dealt with Silencer Central on barrel threading but they were excellent to work with on purchasing a suppressor. Eric

I had SAS so all of mine that were not factory threaded. Back when Tim was in Evansville. Now he is in Nevada and im looking for someone local. I liked sas doing it since they are a suppressor manufacturer and will get it right.

Tornado Technologies did mine back in '08 and the machining is impressive....They also include a knurled thread protector.

Just be sure to hire someone who does suppressor specific machining because the barrel threads need to be indexed from the axis of the bore.....Many horror stories out there of baffle strikes, etc because Joe machinist just threaded the barrel, with no thought to the bore itself.

Another vote for Silencer central. I’ve had them do 2 thread jobs both were great. Easy, fast, and reasonably priced service

I am a big fan of them. Doug and his crew are 100% good to go.

He has done a fine job of keeping the old school gunshop vibe and bridged into the modern stuff.
