Heard on the radio this morning that with all the commotion and fear regarding available gasoline, they are considering starting fracking for natural gas. I've often wondered why we haven't considered that as an alternative to gasoline? I've noticed the buses in our area are powered by natural gas. Better economically and less pollution supposedly.

Every time I laugh, cough, or sneeze, my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

LP or compressed natural gas produces about half the fuel economy

I toured a Waste Management landfill north of Denver. They capture methane to run three large generators plus their garbage collection trucks refill with methane overnight. Free fuel.

We have a puddle on an old dump site, in the middle of it is always burning a small fire.

I spent a month at this inventor's place in easter Ecuador (retired Navy pilot) and he collected chicken manure from his hens, dumped it in a 55 gal drum with chopped straw and water and with a refrigerator compressor, and other gizmos filled a tank with methane. With that he boiled water for his coffee every morning.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Oh,,,The irony of a refrigerator compressor, made to cool beer, wasting energy making coffee.

Over the years I've ran natural gas lines to to several gas stations and trucking outfits. The only way it's viable is through tax credits. It's a scam

I had a truck that could run mostly on ethanol. It's a little cheaper at the pump, but mileage suffers a lot. After a couple of tankfuls, I quit using it.
