I have posted on T Man before about having a bad back. I like to call at nite for critters using my thermals but standing around for an hour or more was almost impossible with weak legs and pain in the back. When I started hunting at nite I carried in a distance from truck..... my rifle with thermal scope... my caller and remote... a tri-pod and later a monocular also. Way too much weight and hard on my legs and back. And before I bought a monocular I tried spinning around my rifle on the tri-pod and looking thru the scope 360 degrees. Clumsy to say the least dodging the legs of the tri-pod. Being a guy that is always thinking and tinkering I knew there had to be something better. I went to work and made a few proto type swivel stools where I could sit and spin a full 360 degrees and have no back pain when I hunted. I now after several proto types have a product that is a little more than a gallon of milk in weight (probably less than my aluminum tri-pod).... I don't carry in or use a tri-pod anymore. And I don't use a monocular either. I sit on the stool... use a gun rest to hold my gun and steady it about as good as a tri-pod does... and I simply use my feet to turn the stool 360 degrees to scan with my rifle scope. After an hour or hour and a half of calling pretty much pain free I get up and get my legs working again and get in my truck which I usually have close by on a pitch dark nite. [Linked Image]

Pretty nifty design. Glad you came up with a way to keep doing what you enjoy.

With that said, I was looking for something to carry my “equipment” in and found a backpack diaper bag on Amazon that had the dimensions I was looking for. I can actually fit both e-callers in it (if I wanted), both remotes, extra batteries, headlamp, wet wipes, bullets, extra knife, waters, and snacks, lol. The scanner stays around my neck, the rifle slung over my shoulder, and the tripod in my left hand. It sure makes things a LOT easier when walking to my stands, especially when I have to park a long way from where I want to call from based off the wind.

Great idea, small, easy to move around in and quick to set up. I rarely any more go more than a couple steps away from my rig, due to my hunting areas, one can see pretty well any distance the scope will let you, now in semi foliage areas I need to stand up to get elevation, I know thats hard for most people to do for long times, most don't notice it but one tends to start leaning on the gun carried instead of into it, makes for poor shooting if you don't watch your self !

That's neat. Just add a boat cushion to sit on and your all set.
