TRUMP posted the picture on his own Truth social account. Are you calling Trump a liberal? And then he took it down and was blathering something about the Red Cross. The guy is sometimes his own worst enemy.

I doubt he put the picture together by himself. Some of his associates are giving him bad advice.

A question. If you go to confession and the priest suggests you say x number of Our Father's and/or x number of Hail Mary's but instead you direct your personal prayer to Jesus for forgiveness, are your sins forgiven? Maybe. You aren't really going to know either way. Was actually wondering what followers of the Catholic faith believe. I know that with the Apostolic faith that if you don't speak in tongue the Holy Spirit doesn't dwell in you. Must be baptized to be saved according to the Church of Christ folks. I just don't know much about the Catholic faith.

If you go to confession and the priest suggests you say x number of Our Father's and/or x number of Hail Mary's but instead you direct your personal prayer to Jesus for forgiveness, are your sins forgiven? In Catholicism, if you accidentally forget to say the prayers required for Penance, or get them wrong, you are still absolved of your sins. If you intentionally don't say the prayers, your absolution is invalid and your sins aren't fully revoked. If you forgot the exact prayers to pray and prayed directly to Jesus, your sins would still be forgiven. Even if you chose not to pray the assigned prayers and prayed directly to Jesus, your sins would still likely be forgiven, because even though the intent matters, asking Jesus directly is of course good enough. I haven't had confession since high school. When I did have it, I always felt immediately better at the absolution. I don't know whether that is directly from God, or from our own brains, or both. You mean like the Levitical priests ? Or do you mean like pastors who dress like they are trying to sell you an Oldsmobile ?
They forget everyone was Catholic until the heretics screwed things up for them in the 16th century. Not True

So, Trump posts a picture depicting himself as Jesus and then says it's actually a doctor making people better and some of you think it's really the liberals or his advisers fault. Wow! It do appear that way.

That is the actual body and blood of Jesus not just a symbol. He died for us all so that we may have a chance at Heaven
Is it common to take pictures during a service as opposed to listening to it? Being a heathen, I am not sure how these things work.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Are Catholics cannibals as they eat the body and blood of Jesus? Where do they get this body and blood of Jesus? How did they get this? What chunk are they munching on these days? I always though the Catholic hymn "Sons of God" sounded like cannibalism. The refrain is: "Sons of God, hear His holy Word, Gather 'round the table of the Lord, Eat His Body, drink His Blood, And we'll sing a song of love: Allelu, allelu, allelu, alleluia!" The whole "Eat His Body, drink His Blood, And we'll sing a song of love" part sounds pretty gruesome and cultish to me. Keith

Not if you live in some parts of the South Pacific Keith. When I was a kid, my family were good friends with a French family, who we met in Cincinnati. Marcel worked for Safran Aircraft Engines on their project with GE Aerospace called CFM. After that project, the whole family moved to Indonesia, where Marcel worked with the Indonesian government in developing their air industry. He talked the president of Indonesia into giving him protected, guided access to some of the wild parts of New Guinea and the Komodo Islands, which New Guinea owned. He has some crazy stories about the stuff the natives did, which as I'm typing I think I probably shouldn't share here, but should at a convention, where only adults are around. Sorry for the tease. Looks like Savell just let loose one of his zingers from the priests reaction.
