Big Sam OP trapper B Joined: Aug 2012 Blackduck Minnesota	Didn't take long. We got to the blind and immediately heard a gobble. I gave a couple yelps and he liked what he heard. As we were sitting down I yelped again to try and get a better feel for direction, but when he gobbled he was significantly closer. By the time I saw him he was running at us. He came in to about 15 yards and spooked when the 6 year old moved. George got his gun up and dusted him. The entire thing took less than three minutes to happen. I don't like blinds, but they sure are handy with the kids.

FVWC trapper F Joined: Jan 2007 Wisconsin	That’s a great story and a memory you and the kids will always have! George’s hunt is similar to my son’s first turkey hunt. It was over in a few minutes. He was so pumped he asked to get one of the leftover tags for later in the season. He found out on the next hunt that success doesn’t always find you so quickly!
