Well this year I wanted about an 8 dat head start over last year on my plants. Lol Well this they decided to up germinate in 3 to 6 days. Everything was up in 6 days peppers, tomatoes melons squash and pumpkins. Usually takes about 8 to 14 days to pop out. Lol

I need plants that are well on their way when transplanting them at the ranch. They don't get the extra care and babying there so it helps to have a little older plants. I generally throw a few seeds in beside the transplants when planting for insurance.
Be a month to 5 weeks before I can plant maybe be some big plants by then. Be bettter then last year year they were this size and didn't make it. If not for the few seeds I planted along with transplants last year I would not had anything. Turkey and pheasants got almost all the seeds in three times planting seeds. They missed a few and I got some groceries. Lol

They look good !!! The deer are looking forward to you putting those fresh young green plants into the ground. We had that happen one time thou it turned out to be a groundhog stuffing himself. Had trouble with crows a few times pulling baby sweet corn out and eating the seeds. Good luck.

Always a battle but have had great success over the years. As long as they leave me some I'm happy.
