Nightcrawlers are alot faster then they used to be so I buy mine I've noticed that too. They were much slower when I was kid for sure.

I grabbed and sold night crawlers with my brothers from the time I was big enough to catch them as a kid. We were selling them for 25 cents a dozen when i started and $1.25 / doz the last I sold. It was good spending money. I remember getting in bed after two or three hours of grabbing them and still seeing them when I closed my eyes.
Each day is a gift. LIVE IT with gratitude.

Used to catch a lot of them for a weeks worth of fishing in Michigan, 6-7 of us fishing. I learned not to clip my fingernails a day or two before trying to catch them. Strange how you loose the feeling in your finger tips. Think they're about $ 4.00 a dozen now, if not higher.

Go at midnight and you don;t have to worry about it. They are to far out to make it home.....jk That works or you can catch them easily during a rain.
You're old when you walk by a rest room and say, "As long as I'm here........."
