Bought a literal pickup load Thursday evening at an estate sale. Bought traps and new or like new duck and goose decoys for pennies on the dollar. Bought shotgun and.22 ammo at basically 1/2 price.
The guns were high as a cats back, but most everything else sold from dirt cheap to well worth the money.

Yep, 16' aluminum jet boat on a new trailer, with a brand new Yamaha 40hp jet (60hp prop), for $1750.
The other guys looking at it thought the engine was seized because the pull rope would not pull, they didn't notice it was in gear and it's designed to not let you pull it when in gear.
The boat had sat a few years and was covered with black mold/algae which is typical if you store something outside in the shade in the PNW. It looked terrible, stopped by a car wash on the way home and cleaned it right up.

Not generally, here it's yard sales mostly, recycled crap....occasionally something decent, but you got the sharpshooters going to the sales early in the morning....to buy stuff for THEIR yard sales, lol.

I once bought a mattress. I wonder if we were at the same sale.

I have nothing clever to put here.

My daughter likes to paint. At one estate sale I got 30 blank 30x40 inch canvases for $5 each and about 50 large tubes of oil paint for $75. Also bought 92 pounds of pewter for $45.

My buddy just picked up a pre war Colt woodsman match target pistol for $125. He texted me a photo and asked if he should buy it!?!? think I was screaming “yes, but it” while texting back.

I find estate sales to be quite pricey. The prices often start near retail or even eBay asking prices. Estate auctions, however, are the opposite. I've been attending a local estate auction weekly for several years now, and that's where you can find some awesome deals.
