can some one splain to me what is up with folks in jeeps and the dash plumb covered in rubber ducks??

I see that all the time up here. Wondered the same thing. Some kind of fad I suppose.

My understanding is that Jeep owners, if they like a Jeep they see, leave a little duck as a token of their appreciation.

I guess.

I'm not a Jeep guy.

I have a Jeep Grand cherokee but no ducks on my dash.

I have found a duck on my hood multiple times. I throw them away. My jeep does not live on pavement.

I know a gal with a Jeep that has the ducks all over the dash so, I asked her. She told me they're cute and adorable. Glad I don't have a Jeep.

I don’t know about the rubber ducks and jeeps, but I have a plastic Pumbaa on the dash of one of my work trucks just because I like his attitude. Hakuna Matata baby.

I just have smelly rubber gloves drying on the dashboard, lol

Birds would perch on ladder rack and
crap on windshield.
Kids won a rubber snake at firemens carnival.
Parked the snake on dash and no more poopy.
Pre vechile fashion Gestapo lol.

Not noticed duckies but mot looking for them either.

Never even heard of it, and I have had to jeep's, sold the first with no duck, then go my second one a couple years later, right off the bat I go into a store to get get some stuff, come back out there's a little plastic Duck on my jeep, look around to see a wave or something, nothing, thought it was just a goofy thing some one was playing around

Couple weeks later at a different place way away from my natural area in a different store, and come out there's another one !
Do the same thing look around this time there is a kid, well a kid to me any way to me, cause I'm ancient and he gives me a wave, so I walk over and say um you put that there, he said yea, welcome to the Jeep world LOL, been in the jeep world a long time and this is the first time I got a present, it's just a group some of us like to pass around when we see a nice rig, said well thanks

Off he goes and I stand there kind of thinking wow, this is weird LOL, what happens when people want more than a thanks !!

Bunch of old fogies on here, lol. Just enjoy your ducks, lol.
