Most of us older guys grew up watching gilligans island, hogans heroes, I dream of genie, bewitched, etc.
But my favorite was the Beverly hillbillies.
I started rewatching them last night starting with the first episode ( cubs played yesterday afternoon, I usually watch cubs game in the evening). Those episodes are still funny!! The writing and and timing were so good.
My favorite episode has to be when Mr drysdale took Jed and jethro out to shoot golf.
They were not able to shoot any, but they did bring home some golf eggs.
Granny was frustrated however with them… she boiled them for hours and they still didn’t get done enough for eating.

The old-time black and white Dick Van Dyke show was pretty hilarious. I like the one where he sends a lifeboat to his wife and she gets stuck in the closet with it.

A guy my son went to medical school with applied for a residency and had a date scheduled for his interview. He was dressed in his only suit, and walked all nervous into a room with four men sitting at a table, also dressed in suits. Son’s friend had been studying day and night for this interview. He said everyone introduced themselves and then they said we would like to ask you some questions. Son’s friend was really nervous at this point, hoping he had prepared enough.

First question - “Who would you rather have - Ginger or Mary Ann?” Of course, that question about floored him, but with little thought, he replied - “both”. He was then subjected to a long session of medical related questions - and in the end, he was accepted. He felt it was his answer to the Ginger or Mary Ann question that got him in
