First hummers of the year showed up this morning. Just a few males as they are always the first to arrive. My wife put out 2 feeders and there already using them. We used to get quite a few each year but 2 years ago we had a late spring freeze and I know it wacked a number of them.

I really enjoy having the hummingbirds around. I haven't seen any yet, but I should probably get the feeders ready.

The dang little welfare recipients never leave here. Pester us all winter long for more nectar.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
