Gary and I go back along ways. Good friends for 32 years. I will miss him greatly! Im at loss for words at the moment. But I will see him down the trail again. RIP my friend.

It has been a few years since Gary and I spoke last. He was always up beat and friendly during our visits. Full of knowledge and good humor. He will be missed by many in our industry.

That’s a fine man right there. One of the most knowledgeable guys I’ve ever worked with. He and I taught together at some schools and I was always just another student. He was my instructor at the college whenever the heck that was. You could just sit and listen for hours if you wanted to. If you said you had to go he’d let you right off the phone but was ready to go again when you got back on. I’ll miss that man. Good author also!

He was a cowboy from North Dakota if I remember correctly. He was a legend and icon in the trapping world. RIP Gary. Sad to hear this.
