He passed away at 91 years of age. I never knew my grandad or grandma on my dad’s side. He had a massive stroke before I was born. He was a mean person my dad said. will12785 trapper W Joined: Sep 2012 NY	My father's mother was born is Rehoboth DE in 1911. She lived to 104. I am only 35 years old though, so its quite a span of years.

humptulips trapper H Joined: Feb 2007 Washington State	My maternal Grandfather was born in I think 1897. Served in WWI as what he called a safety officer. He basically packed wounded back to where an ambulance could get to. He volunteered and joined the 364th field hospital when it was being commissioned in Portland. When I was little he seemed really grumpy and a bit off. I look back on it and think he might have had PTSD.
