John Kale OP trapper J Joined: Feb 2025 Indiana	The action bar is off the railing on my 870 wingmaster and cant get it out of the back of the receiver. Should i go straight to a gunsmith?

160user trapper Joined: Jan 2007 MN	Pull the trigger group out and reach inside and push the control bars in as you try to put the action bar back in. You will need to hold both side s in, one at a time. 870's are SUPER easy to put back together. I have nothing clever to put here.

I think all he needs to do is push carrier down and push the shell stop in and slide should go forward. I think it's a horse a piece between the 870 and Md 12. Both very reliable.
