I didn't want to hijack nessy's post, so I made this new one. There's a brewery near the Mount Olive pickle factory, and they make a dill pickle beer. It's a bit unusual, but not too bad.

I'm not sure I could wrap my brain around that.

At some of our travel ball tournaments, I have noticed some concession stands take the pickle juice from the large pickle jars, put it in the small plastic containers (about a shot size), freeze them, and sell them for $1.

I like to re-use trhe juice by slicing Cukes very thin and let them steep in the liquid for a few days, Really great!

Susan gets pickle juice added to coke at Sonic. I do like a shot of pickle juice when I've been out in the heat too long but I'm not sure I'd want to mix it with anything.

I would try that. When I get a really bad leg cramp, I drink some pickle juice. Cramp is gone in a couple minutes.

So, if I drink a pickle beer, no more leg cramps? Worth a try.

Get drunk and pickled at the same time.

I wonder if the probiotic benefits of pickled juice is destroyed when cooked, or if its benefits suurvive. Could become a healthy beer!

In hot weather, I eat more pickles and drink the pickle juice. It's very good at rehydrating you and getting your electrolytes balanced. The beer likely has some similar benefits. I would try it.

I would taste it. Does not sound particularly tasty.

I haven't tried that pickle beer, but I do often times , put pickle juice in my beer.

I am trying to find the new PBR/Grillos pickle beer to try. No luck yet.

On a side note, if you love pickles, try Grillos pickles. Phenomenal.
